Times really are tough at the moment; you only have to tune into the news each day to see just how difficult people are finding it right now. From hiking energy prices to the ever-rising cost of living, it’s impossible not to feel the pinch. 

With December being the time of giving and at what can be an expensive and stressful period, we wanted to dedicate this December to highlighting and promoting the support that Cavell Nurses’ Trust provides to UK nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers.

Cavell Nurses’ Trust is the charity which supporting UK nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers, working or retired, and those who are experiencing personal or financial hardship often due to illness, disability, older age, domestic abuse and the ongoing cost of living crisis.

How Can Cavell Nurses’ Trust Help?

The charity offers a tailored package of support to help everyone who gets in touch. Cavell Nurses’ Trust provides emotional support for those in crisis, advice on maximising benefits, signposting to specialist services, one-off grants to quickly relieve financial hardship and rapid emergency funding for those at great risk. 

There is a wide range of support the charity can provide a person with, from simple, essential support, such as money to replace a broken cooker or travelling expenses to medical appointments, to vital life changing aid like helping a family flee their home due to domestic abuse, Cavell is there to help.
